Aqualava is Lanzarote’s only geothermic waterpark. There are slides, the lazy river and even a large pool with a wave machine. You can spend the whole day here once you have paid your entrance fee. There are lots of sun loungers round all the pools and slides.
The water is an average of 21 degrees but increases in the summer. There is an onsite restaurant/cafe serving hot and cold food thoughrout the day.
Aqualava is Lanzarote’s newest waterpark and therefore quite modern in comparison to the other waterpark in Costa Teguise. It is also a little smaller and attached to a hotel. Aqualava is based in Playa Blanca but offer a pickup service from Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise.

Overview of Experience
Aqualava heated waterpark is based in Playa Blanca, with pickup services for Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise. Once inside the park you will be thrilled at just how much there is to do for the whole family!
There are sunbeds round all the pools and slides, there is ample space to just sit back and relax if that is your thing. If not, you are able to try the lazy river and float around on inflatables or if you and the family like waterslides then you are in luck! There are lots of slides and they cater for all ages.
There is also a large swimming pool with a wave machine so you can enjoy the sea experience in the pools. All pools are heated using geothermic heating (average pool temperature 21 degrees) so you can go to Aqualava all year round!

The whole park looked clean and well kept and there were plenty of life guards.foods was expensive but that’s always expected in these places. Shame we only went at the end of out holiday, if we had found it sooner we would of definitely gone again.
This water park is very small and aimed at younger children. Our child is 11 and we enjoyed our few hours at the park. We were aware of this as we read the reviews prior to arrival. We went at 2pm and paid the half day ticket. I would definitely advise this as you would struggle to spend a full day. The gentleman on the front desk was friendly which definitely makes a difference. The park was clean and comfortable. An enjoyable few hours 🙂
